這書是2018年出版的小說集，

包括四篇中短篇小說和

一篇關於小說創作的訪談文章組成。

四篇小說包括《撞死了一隻羊》，

《我是一隻種羊》，

《尋訪阿卡圖巴》及《尋訪智美更登》，

內容以藏族人的日常生活為人物及背景。

其中《撞死了一隻羊》篇幅最短，祗有十多頁，屬短篇小說。故事內容寫的是藏族人的一段日常生活，

情節簡單，承載豐富人情味，

是一篇很感人的短篇小說。

故事講述一班同學六個人十年前

  相約去看鞍馬的火祭之際，

其中一個同學長谷川在人群中走散，

 就此消失。

 十年後，剩下的五個人相約去看鞍馬的火祭，

 也重新墜入當年的記憶裡，

 也分享了這些年來彼此經歷的怪事，

而所有怪事，

都與一個畫家的銅版畫〈夜行〉系列創作
存在著某種牽連。

故事如幻如真，

書中各人在其生活的夜行中看的景像是真的嗎？

究竟又是不是十年前相約去看鞍馬的火祭，

不是長谷川在人群中走散，

而是其他五個人在人群中走散，就此消失呢？
